PopGraine is the professional project that brings me to South Korea today.
Behind that name, we have the ambition to develop a cultural cafe in 3 differents countries at least (France, Canada, South Korea) to welcome artists in residence, let the audience and customers observe the creation of a work, democratize the access to the culture and allow the circulation of art works and artists around the world.
What better than to start this research in South Korea, which is developing a love for coffee (glazed certainly) and whose international presence is constantly growing through the soft power of its artistic, gastronomic culture whose specificities are worth spreading more than ever.
So you will find on this blog, articles about my research in this country, the various cafes I visit to inspire the PopGraine project, the Korean events I go to, the differences in artistic approaches between countries and the progress of creating such a project here, the personal, professional approaches.
A Vlog should soon be born to trace both personal and professional visits in image to enable you to discover the country and its culture and you can of course follow on the various Instagram accounts personal and professional projects in France (@mariesaintz), my life in South Korea (@mariesrkives) and PopGrain projects (@popgrain).
Pending its final development, PopGraine is also intended to be a support service for arts companies, cultural operators and other event organisations and will soon offer infographic services (under construction) on its website (website creation, poster design, flyers, brochure, etc), administrative support (grants, presentation package, invoicing, contracts, budget development, etc.), project management (projects, festivals, events).
